One of the most pleasurable things to do on any holiday is simply to sit in the central Square area and watch life pass you buy. This was in the Central Square of Tarroudant late in the afternoon when people were sitting under the trees and snake charmers were out and about. A delightful experience and a great atmosphere.

Decent main square - well located, quite spacious, various cafes round the edges. Not spectacular, and on closer inspection not a great range of refreshment options, but some decent places. And you definitely feel like you have found the centre of town.

Good place to hang out in Taroudant however the flys don’t give you the chance to enjoy your tea. Restaurants and cafes outside the gate have definitely higher hygiene standards
