This is a shopping centre, so do not be fooled by the history tour. everything is pricey and you need patience and some command of Arabic. But the treasures inside are spectacular. It is worthy the time, even if you don't leave with a purchase.

Toilet clean and in working order. Food tasty and authentic to region Restaurant tented area and an Aladdin's cave of carpets /rugs bric - a -brac ,fabric and junk inside. Stopped for lunch (Group tour). Have been here before.

The food at this place was amazing, we ordered the Berber pizza ahead of time since it takes awhile to cook! It was amazingly fresh and great tasting. The history and collection of rugs and pieces is amazing to look at it. There are some sales tatics used to try and make you buy something but overall it was a nice place to stop and learn about some tribal history.

Was an interesting place. A lot of neat things to see. Inside they apply pressure to by a carpet. Agreed on a price in dollars and then at the time of sale he converted to Moroccan Dirah - I his favor of course . Was entertaining to see his sales tactics

When out in the sahara this is ur one stop shop if you want carpets lanterns and furniture etc. Its a lical artisan marketplace. You have to bargain. I wouldnt buy clothing here- i personally didnt like the fabric selection.

Excellent visit to this place. Our "Blue Man" guide explained to us that this was an association of artisans, all Touareg, that got together to showcase their art and off course sell their products. We had a little tour of the place, of all the articles they produce and explanation of how they do them and what they depict and then proceeded to show us the hundreds of rugs they have in the shop. We ended up buying one, at a very good price and thoroughly enjoyed the visit. They have a toilet on site that was clean and in working order. Worth a visit, even if you don't buy anything.
