"My experience in the emergency room was unacceptable and very shocking. I was accompanying my 7-year-old son following an accident: his little finger was injured. We waited nearly two hours before seeing a doctor. During the wait, my child was exposed to very difficult scenes (patients coming in, shocking sights) that I had to try to hide from him. When we were finally called, the doctor was at the end of his shift. I was sent back to another doctor, without even a quick initial examination to assess the severity or the need for an X-ray. Faced with this lack of care and consideration, I left to seek medical help elsewhere. The emergency room is not a child-friendly environment under these conditions. I hope the team will review its organization."
