I just typed into GPT asking for the best surf hostels in Morocco and Shaka Surf came up. Honestly, I had no idea it would turn out to be this beyond my expectations. The staff is incredibly warm and friendly, the food is amazing, and the rooms are clean and comfortable. Morning yoga sessions are the perfect way to start the day, and the terrace view is just breathtaking. Every day we surfed at different spots, always the best ones depending on the conditions. During our stay, we even got to visit the music festival in Essaouira. Such an unforgettable experience!

Really a nice experience! First time traveling alone, first time to Africa and first time surfing. They are very nice people there! Super friendly! And the food is best! Fully exceeded my expectations! Love the dinners! And watching the sunset from the rooftop feels so peaceful and cozy. I would love to spend my winter time there.

Had an incredible stay at Shaka Surf - everything from the transport to the surf sessions was really well-organised. Beth and her team are such warm and welcoming hosts. I loved the small group size, which is ideal for beginners like me, though the sessions are great for all levels. The food was amazing as well, and the hostel was cosy and well-located. Tamraght itself is a lovely town - perfect if you’re looking to slow down and unwind. I highly recommend Shaka Surf to anyone planning a surf trip to Morocco!

The best thing you can do in Morocco is join Shaka Surf classes! Everything was smooth and hassle free, you just need to bring yourself to the school and team takes care of the rest Everyone you meet is lovely, instructors are friendly, experienced and always choose the best surf spot depending on the conditions, during the week we visited four different beaches! Overall, Shaka Surf feels like amazing kindergarten for adults, thank you for this great experience!
