Fantastic place to purchase handicraft at fixed low prices. No need to bargain, the prices are great, the product selection and variety excellent and you give money directly to locals and not intermediaries like in the souks. If in the area, you should definitely stop there!

Exhibition and sale of handcrafted items. It's a shame that many stalls were closed. However, we were able to purchase some lovely little folding Moroccan tripod tables at a reasonable price in an artisan's workshop on the left as we entered.

I went to this place specifically to visit the craft center and my great disappointment is that the main store was closed and the surrounding workshops were also closed; only a women's cooperative working on the loom and a boy working with wood were open.

The craft center is much less interesting than it was a few years ago. Many shops are closed. Those that are open offer a limited selection. A shame.
